Anet A8 Simplify 3D Profile (PLA, ABS and PETG)
thingiverse
I just wanted to share the profile I created for my Anet A8 after spending several hours researching online forums and websites, as I couldn't find any existing profiles that included PETG settings. For me, this profile prints almost perfectly without oozing or stringing (maybe 2 or 3 strings total for an 11-hour print!). It prints a bit slowly, but it works well overall. I recommend printing an ABS center nozzle fan with 100% infill, similar to the one found on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1620630 (thanks, Arjjck, for sharing this design!). The settings for ABS and PLA also work well. When printing with PETG, be cautious with glass bed covers as they may stick too strongly; I solved this issue by covering my glass bed with several strips of masking tape until it was fully covered, which makes removal easier when needed or when working under time pressure. Alternatively, you can cover your bed with a paper sheet secured in place using tape - just be aware that the print will stick to the paper as well, but this depends on whether it's essential for your specific print job or not. Feel free to ask if any issues arise during printing. Happy printing!
