Update 11.06.2019: To be frank, this filament guide is completely useless but it works amazingly well as a cable guide! Update 23.05.2017: Since switching to a Bowden setup, I discovered that this design functions perfectly as a cable guide, yay! (see picture) Since my spool holder is positioned behind the printer, previous guides didn't work and actually made things worse. The issue lies in the steep angle at which filament flows down to the extruder. This design has effectively resolved the problem and allows for smooth filament flow. Print Settings Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 10% Notes: Utilized the orange Anet PLA filament. 200°/50°, 50mm/s, ~45m printing time.
