Anet A8 Sensor & Fan Holder (For Noctua 40mm Fan)
thingiverse
I redesigned the Fan & Sensor Holder by Leo_N, which had a fan tray that was too narrow and put excessive pressure on the fan housing - and was also too small to hold a Noctua 40mm fan. I shortened the edges of the fan supports, which were too tall in my opinion. Like Leo_N's original design, this is meant for use without a heatsink on your printer, so remove that and then secure this with two M3x25 screws. This bracket will perfectly hold an 18mm sensor; I recommend the LJ18A3-8-Z/BX, which functions well with the 5V supplied by the Anet A8 board natively (no voltage booster needed). The bracket now holds a Noctua 40mm fan with rubber vibration dampers in place and securely holds your auto-bed leveling sensor! Print in ABS or PETG; softer materials will warp over time, as noted in Leo_N's original design. Supports: Print with "touching build plate" supports enabled only, not the "everywhere" option.
