Anet A8 S-240-12 Power Supply Cover

Human: Version 2 This cover replaces the original power supply that comes with the Anet A8 Part No. S-240-12. The IEC connector used in this cover is standard, sourced from an old PC power supply, while the switch is a rectangular rocker switch also taken from the same unit. A triangular prism brim surrounds the cover to prevent warping and lifting of the sides off the platform, a common issue with some printers. Remove it before installation. The cover features two mounting holes, one in the side and another in the front. Replace the screw next to the power supply's terminal strip with a new screw that has a slightly smaller head diameter. I used a spare Anet A8 screw cut down to 6.5mm thread length. Installing a cover on your power supply as the first modification is highly recommended, as it does not meet any safety standards in its original state and poses a significant risk.
