Anet A8 round extruder push button
thingiverse
I desperately needed a replacement for my outdated ABS printed push button on the extruder of my Anet A8.\r\nSo I swiftly designed and printed my own within 20 minutes.\r\n\r\nThis compact little device is a major quality of life improvement for the A8, try pushing on the exposed screw on the extruder for a minute - I dare you to resist.\r\nIt's incredibly easy to print and install.\r\n\r\nThe base of the button is substantial, making it suitable for most Bowden mounted extruders. Although I haven't tested it with a direct drive setup, I'm confident it will work seamlessly.\r\n\r\nIf your printer is well-calibrated, the new push button should fit perfectly - not too tight and not too loose.\r\nI've included the Solidworks file for you to modify the design to suit your specific needs. If you decide to remix this design, please give me proper credit as the original creator.
