Anet A8 Reset Button Motherboard Cover
thingiverse
I designed this board cover to make it simple to press the reset button on the motherboard. The spiral cut-out in the centre lets the part bend and extend to press the button easily.\nAs I only use the SD card slot for printing since my computer is far from my printer, I press the reset button after re-inserting the SD card to reboot the board. It's also helpful to stop your printer mid-print if you have trouble with the first layer, for instance. \nThe issue is that bridging connections with your finger when pressing the tiny switch can cause problems and static transfer to components on the board. Since the cover is non-conductive plastic, this should eliminate that problem!\nPLA works perfectly for me, and because of the spiral feature I'm certain other tougher plastics would work too.\nTO MOUNT:\nRemove the board and turn the machine screws around; the holes in the legs are just tight enough for the screws to bite into and secure the whole assembly to the frame. No need for nuts.
