Anet A8 Rear Turbo Fan Mount - Top Stop
thingiverse
I didn't like how the turbo fan and needed duct obstructed the best view of watching your printer create its piece. The original mount failed to work with the newer Anet A8, which has the x-axis limit switch located at the top of the x-axis carriage rather than the side. The x-axis end-stop block ensures that the fan doesn't collide with the frame. To make it work, you'll need to adjust your x-axis settings by 15mm to 16mm. Fortunately, this adjustment won't compromise any print area. For mounting, use the stock screws except for one, which can be eliminated thanks to a provided peg. To complete the setup, I highly recommend printing marcbea's Duct as it fits perfectly on mine. You can find the design on Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2082055. Stay tuned for my upcoming post featuring a hex extruder cover with an LED bracket.
