This is my version of the Anet A8 proximity switch sensor bracket. I use this to make leveling the bed more precise than possible using the standard Z switch. It attaches to the A8 via the M3 holes already on the bracket, requiring 28-30mm long screws; I used 35mm long screws and a couple of nuts to compensate for extra thread. The part is offset to one side to keep it clear of any mechanical parts on the X-mount. It's also designed to fit around the bearing bracket, using both top and bottom brackets to maintain alignment with the printer. This keeps the part vertical and positions the sensor at right angles to the bed. An M18 type sensor should be used, which requires a threaded barrel about 40mm or higher as the base of this mount is roughly 38mm from the bed. My sensor has a thread length of 58mm, making it an easy fit with ample adjustment range via the threaded barrel. The design aims to be strong while using minimal material. I printed this with the "cross" facing down on the bed. The ring prints well on the A8 at 60mm/s without drooping, even without support.
