Anet A8 Rear Mount BLTouch for Frame brace clearance
thingiverse
I was using a custom frame brace and tried several BLTouch mounts, but they either clashed with the brace or weren't in an ideal spot for my printer setup. To resolve this issue, I designed my own BLTouch mount using Fusion 360 to meet my specific needs. This custom design may require adding some washers to set up the basic Z height. I'm currently running Marlin 1.9.1 firmware on my printer. To configure the Z-probe offset, you'll need to define the following values: #define X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 14 #define Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 62 #define Z_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER // You must determine your specific Z offset For optimal probing performance, adjust these settings as needed: #define LEFT_PROBE_BED_POSITION 20 // Minimum probe edge #define RIGHT_PROBE_BED_POSITION 200 // Maximum probe edge (X-bed size - minimum probe edge) #define FRONT_PROBE_BED_POSITION 62 // Minimum probe edge #define BACK_PROBE_BED_POSITION 200 // Maximum probe edge (Y-bed size - minimum probe edge)
