I designed this stabilizer to reduce strain on the frame after installing the HULK bracing. As expected, it also makes the rear acrylic plates significantly more rigid. I had to fix a crack in my frame using an acrylic plate and glue, and this rod helps keep that in place as well. If you build this, don't over-tighten the nuts on the rod, or you may crack the frame. It's only intended to stabilize the two acrylic plates and not change alignment. You'll need: 6 M8 nuts (I used two Nylock nuts in each outer cap and four normal nuts on the inner counter knobs) One 34cm long M8 threaded rod You'll get: Two outer knobs Two inner knobs Two 25mm spacers for 6mm frames Two 25mm spacers for 8mm frames (to fill holes in the Anet frame) Before assembly, use a 9mm drill-bit to run through the holes in the two inner knobs, so you won't struggle when threading them into place. Preheat all nuts on your heatbed together with the knobs for an easy installation. You can cover the rod with tape or plastic cable wrap for a better look. If you're sure it'll stay on permanently, apply heat shrink, but be aware that this is tricky. If spacers are difficult to fit, preheat them in hot water, and they should slide right into place.
