### Why? When assembling my Anet A8, I used threadlocker on some bolts, and the fumes from the glue caused the acrylic to crack. It's a known issue that I wasn't aware of at the time. So, I found the part here on Thingiverse (file `A8-0009.stl` in **[Anet A8 Acrylic Frame](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2288314)**) but it had different mounting hole layouts, so I created another one from scratch and made it 3D printable for small beds. ### How to Print 20% infill with more perimeters (3-4) should be okay. I used PET-G, and I wouldn't recommend PLA if you have the printer in an enclosure, as PLA will shrink over time, causing misalignment of the leading rods. Print a small dovetail test-print first to see if the fit is right - not too snug or too loose. ### You'll Need Rear Brace The part connects with a dovetail joint that won't hold on its own, so you'll need some sort of rear brace to keep everything in place. I use **[Anet A8 Simple Back Brace](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2054442)** by **LexDK**.
