Anet A8 Rear Frame Brace

Anet A8 Rear Frame Brace

This part strengthens the rear of the Y carriage frame for the Anet A8. Compared to other rear Y carriage frame reinforcements, this design mounts directly onto the outside of the frame, making it a more straightforward installation. The objective is to stiffen the rear frame to prevent flexing or cracking due to Y belt tension. To install this reinforcement, remove the two mounting screws holding the Y carriage stepper motor and replace them with 30mm screws. Be aware that the holes are somewhat tight, so I recommend enlarging them using a 1/8 inch drill bit. The frame also features additional holes, which can be used to secure it further - simply choose one of these holes and attach a 15mm screw and nut to ensure the frame remains stable and does not shift.
