Anet A8 Raspberry Pi rear mount improved
thingiverse
Raspberry pi mount for Anet A8: a revised design that securely attaches to the rear of the LCD screen, replacing the old acrylic piece. To create this mount, you'll need a 40mm fan identical to this one: https://www.amazon.com/TOOGOO-Boitier-Refroidisseur-ventilateur-refroidissement/dp/B00EDMJGLK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1532435161&sr=8-1&keywords=40mm+fan. Additionally, thermic dissipators like these (optional but highly recommended for optimal performance with Octoprint) can be purchased here: https://www.amazon.com/Aukru-Dissipateur-chaleur-Raspberry-aluminium/dp/B00ILK6DMA/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1532435241&sr=1-2&keywords=dissipateur+raspberry+pi+3. After several trial runs, I successfully designed a mount that perfectly accommodates the pi in the box. To ensure a seamless installation process, remember to remove the SD card before installing and attaching it via the side hole. This revised design enables all displays to be accessible from beneath the case, preserving the original printer height and allowing for easy integration of screens or other enclosures that fit snugly within the existing dimensions.
