Anet A8 PSU Small Frame Fan
thingiverse
A compact fan mount for Anet A8 power supplies. Using a 10k thermistor, a 2N2222A transistor and an Arduino Uno, I'm achieving precise fan speed control to maintain optimal cooling levels. This setup is particularly beneficial during ABS (accelerated bed leveling) operations. Strategically positioning a small 40x10mm fan on the PSU's face maximizes airflow. The circuit board measures 3cm x 7cm but can be easily customized for different sizes. If speed regulation isn't necessary, you can omit the Arduino section and use the fan holder with M3 screws. Larger fans require bigger transistors to handle increased current flow. Ultimately, the fan's effectiveness hinges on the custom Arduino code.
