Anet A8 prusa-i3 circular fan duct
thingiverse
This thing was designed using Tinkercad. Edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/ap9jexbusvh. Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: None Notes: I printed this PLA part with a 190/60 ratio on a glass bed using just a light mist of hairspray. I started at slow speed without a fan for the first layer, then increased speed and enabled the fan for subsequent layers. How It Was Made: The original file came from Thingiverse, but after printing it, I found that it didn't sit at the correct height and its connection to the fan was loose. So, I modified it to fit my needs better. Measurements: The underside of the duct is 23.5 mm lower than the underside of the fan it connects to (excluding the part that fits into the fan). The part that goes into the fan was slightly enlarged to create a more solid connection, fitting snugly into a 17x13 mm hole. To determine if this duct will fit your printer, zero out your Z axis and measure the distance as shown in the photo. If it falls within the range of 25-28 mm, you won't need to modify the file, leaving approximately 3-7 mm clearance with your project. Measurement Tip: Measure from the top of the glass sheet to the underside of the fan where the duct connects.
