I designed this switch holder to turn my printer on and off with ease, without having to move furniture out of the way to reach the plug. I engineered it to bolt onto the Anet A8's frame, which holds the right-hand side Z-axis stepper motor close to the power supply. I used a switch from a broken power strip, knowing it could handle high voltages. To wire in the switch, simply use one short length of wire - about 5 inches will do. Attach a female AWG connector to one end to plug into the switch and an AWG spade connector to the live input on the PCU. Then, splice another AWG female connector onto another length of wire, also about 5 inches long. Use an AWG butt connector to link it to the live wire on the cable - you can also solder them if you prefer. With the AWG connectors attached to the switch, replacement is a breeze if needed. This simple idea works remarkably well for my machine, and in theory, it should also work for the Prusa i3, as the Anet A8 is based on it (or so I've been told - feel free to correct me!). I'm currently working on an upgraded version that includes a socket for a 3-pin power cable, commonly found on PC tower power supplies.
