Anet A8 Power Supply 80mm Fan Case
thingiverse
This custom casing was designed specifically to accommodate an 80mm fan that is mounted on the power supply, which comes standard with the Anet A8 printer. The design builds upon the concept of a previous fan case found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1861403. I positioned the openings for the cables (bottom or left side) in such a way that they can be placed anywhere on the outside power supply grid, providing flexibility and convenience. I recommend positioning the fan in the middle of the power supply to allow air to escape from both the top and bottom. To ensure proper functionality, I connected the fan directly to the 12V output on the power supply. For a better understanding of the design and setup, please refer to the accompanying pictures. If you have printed this casing, kindly share a photo of your setup for reference purposes. Thank you. Sincerely, Leo 01.01.2017 - Important Update: A recent observation suggests that Anet may have modified their power supply unit, which could result in different dimensions than those used in my original design. To avoid any issues, please verify the dimensions (refer to pictures) against your Anet power supply before proceeding with the print.
