I was operating an 8 hour print session the other day when I noticed my Y axis motor had reached a temperature that would have been hot enough to cook an egg (albeit not literally). Consequently, I decided to create a cooler for it. I designed this cooler around a 40mm USB fan I happened to find lying around. This particular fan can be found on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/Aquarium-Raspberry-Cosplay-Cooling-Ventilation/dp/B07L94829S/ref=sr_1_13?keywords=40mm+usb+fan&qid=1574737627&sr=8-13. However, any fan that fits inside a 40x40x11mm box could be used instead. The bracket will securely attach to the motor using the screws provided with the printer, and the fan is mounted to the bracket via 4mm self-tapping screws, which usually come included with your fan.
