Anet A8 Plus electronics casing
thingiverse
Here's a non-metal electronics casing for the Anet A8 Plus with improved access to all terminals and strain reliefs throughout. The base prints correctly, as shown in photos. A small 8 mm magnet secures the closure, making it easy to open when necessary. Removing the supports for the heated cable on the left side yields a circular cable entry. I plan to reinforce the heated cable with 3mm filament for added support. Additional holes with M3 nut support are provided on top in case you want to add extra cable support or features. July 22nd, 2019 - Note: The lid can now be printed without issues. However, when I initially used Prusa Slic3r to generate the g-code, the results were poor. But slicing the lid with Cura produces a successful print. July 20th, 2019 - Warning: the Deksel lid with its hexagonal grid is designed correctly and fits the box nicely. However, when trying to print the lid, the hexagonal grid is printed incorrectly, resulting in small squares instead of hexagons.
