Anet A8 plus anti z-wobble X-Carriage Mounts
thingiverse
On my Anet A8 plus, z-wobble persisted as a major issue. After exhausting every possible solution without finding any relief, I began to ponder a personal approach to resolve the problem. This is how I tackled and solved the z-wobble issue on my printer. Additionally, my printer has become significantly less susceptible to the shaking printer syndrome caused by scale enlargement compared to the original A8. I drew inspiration from Leo Nutz's design, which can be found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1919544. His creation is truly impressive, and I highly recommend it. For detailed printing instructions, please refer to his design page. To overcome z-wobble, I made key modifications to the x-carriage mounts to accommodate a v-slot wheel. To make room for this upgrade, I relocated the mainboard's housing using a 2020 corner. All necessary parts are included in this design. After rigorous testing over a week, I was able to achieve minimal z-wobble and fine-tune everything accordingly. It required patience and attention to detail, but it was worth it. To replicate my setup, you'll need the following components: 2x V-slot wheels and 2x 35 mm bolts along with matching washers and nuts. Translated by www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
