Anet A8 Plus 60mm Extruder Fan Mount
thingiverse
This mount lets you swap out the 40mm stock fan on your Anet A8 Plus with a more powerful 60mm fan, and it securely fastens into place using the original mounting bracket. Cut down your old screws or buy shorter ones, then attach this part to the original metal square bracket, securing the 60mm fan in place. I used a high-powered 12v 20cfm fan for better results. This upgrade lets you still use the two stock bolts on the metal bracket to easily remove the fan and access the extruder, offering a significant boost to cold end cooling that helps prevent heat creep - especially useful with an all-metal throat. To seal the space between this part and the rest of your printer and direct more air over the cold end heatsink, add some tape. I'm also working on a flexible part to accompany this, but it won't be ready for a while. A ~4mm spacer is required to prevent the fan from hitting the shaft coupler on the X-endstop.
