We're going to design a crossflow duct with the largest inner diameter possible to minimize airflow restrictions while still being thin enough to fit snugly under the nozzle heater. The assembly tolerances are likely quite loose for our extruders, so if the nozzle hits the duct, we can warm up the wide middle part using a heat gun when it's still soft and then twist it slightly to free it from the nozzle heatblock.
