Updated August 17th, 2019 - A brand new version with rounded corners and a flexible wall has been created to fit easily within the nut. - Be sure to check out the file "anet_a8_front_nut_cap_rounded_flex.stl" This part was designed specifically to cover the M8 nut of the Anet A8 printer, fitting perfectly around it. It was printed using 0.2mm and adaptive layers with Ultimaker Cura. Another project found here previously did not fit correctly, prompting me to build my own solution. One piece is 9mm long to cover both the nut and part of the bolt that protruded in my case. If you only need a cover for the nut, print the 6mm version instead. Important Update: June 26, 2018 Depending on your material choice, consider rescaling to 98% within your slice software for an extremely tight print. I successfully used this scale when printing with PETG and achieved excellent results.
