I was experimenting with camera bed mounts for my Anet A8 and consistently encountered unstable designs along with excessive vibration during rapid printing or when utilizing a heavier camera such as a GoPro. I also desired an effortless disassembly process for printer maintenance. My design is intended to meet these demands. Given that I am employing a Microsoft LifeCam VX-700 Webcam, the bracket and beam provide a simple clamping fit for this webcam. Other adapters merely require a 3.4mm thick plate, which can be secured in the bracket or beam using the wing screw. The setup can consist of a single bracket, suitable for lighter cameras, or a double bracket and beam configuration for heavier cameras. For increased vertical clearance, I have included extenders with 20mm, 30mm, or 40mm lengths. Feel free to modify the freeCAD model according to your specific needs.
