Anet A8 Minimalist Filament Guide
thingiverse
Hi Everyone, This is a Super Simple Filament Guide for the Anet 8. I just wanted to create something quick and easy to try out some new materials I recently bought. So I decided to share it with my fellow makers. I was playing around with bamboo filament in the picture because I ran out of PLA, but it should turn out much higher quality in PLA material. I know this isn't super exciting, but I'll start posting more interesting stuff soon. Let me know if you have any complex requests and I'll see what I can create. There are 2 versions. The first one is a solid loop, and the second one has a cut in it for those who prefer that detail. The cut on that one is only 2.5mm wide so as long as you're using 1.75mm filament that should work fine. I set infill at 100% because of the new material but you can get away with 15-20% with PLA. I also use brim settings typically, but depending on your printer calibration you could get away without that as well. Print "doughnut" side down with prongs sticking up for best quality. Happy Printing!
