I have my ANET A8 situated neatly in its case, with the micro SD card conveniently positioned on the side. However, this arrangement poses a challenge: accessing the micro SD card becomes awkward and there's always a risk of dropping it onto or into the logic board. To address these concerns, I opted for a standard micro SD card extension cable that I purchased from eBay (available at http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231567666416?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2648&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT ). Next, I created a custom frame that clips onto the ANET's horizontal frame, where the screen is located. The cable adapter simply snaps into place within this frame. Once assembled, I printed and added a cover to give it a more polished appearance. This design allows for easy disassembly without the need for glue or other adhesives – everything should snap together seamlessly.
