Anet A8 Mainboard External Mount
thingiverse
This mount was crafted to replicate the original mount on the printer while permitting its attachment to an enclosure frame (an Ikea Lack table in my scenario) via the countersunk holes in the holder. It utilizes the stock hardware used to secure the mainboard to the printer. Simply insert the nuts into the slots on the side and install. The pillars match the length of the stock spacers, so if you happen to snap one off while removing it from the build plate like I did, just substitute it with a stock spacer. You will require an additional two nuts of the same size and two screws at least 12mm in length to attach the holder to the base. I happened to have some spare parts from other modifications lying around. The nuts are slightly tight-fitting in the slots, but once you get them started they are relatively easy to push the rest of the way with a screwdriver. I included the STEP files for anyone who needs or wants to experiment with it.
