Anet A8 Mainboard + 3 Smoother Case
thingiverse
Here's my Case for the Anet A8, it can easily accommodate three TL Smoothers and the mainboard. There are plenty of vents for cooling, but if you need more, I've made a spot to install the 40mm fan that comes with the printer at the back of the case. The metallic mount on the extruder does an excellent job dissipating heat on its own, so this fan is basically redundant. If you want even better cooling, just look for a place to put a 70mm fan - and I've got one right here, taken from a cheap AMD processor heatsink. It's pretty cool, if I do say so myself. After some tinkering, I managed to get it fitted perfectly to the printer! Adding the 70mm fan really cools down the components nicely, while the 40mm one should also do its part. If you're wondering where to plug in the fans, just look for a spare fan plug on your board (you can remove the 40mm one from the extruder if needed) and plug it in. If not, just strip the plug and connect the cables directly to the 12v input on the mainboard - that's what I did, and so far, it's working great. This case is mainly designed for M3 screws, which are used for the electronics, cover, and 40mm fan. However, I've opted for fan case screws for the 70mm one instead.
