Anet A8 lower filament guide

I was using Leo_N's filament guide but then suddenly my Ninjaflex was folding under the idler pulley. I designed this to sit a little closer to the extruder gear as well as having adjustable positioning with an elongated mounting hole. All filaments are now printing like a dream. Print Settings Printer Brand: Anet Printer: A8 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.16mm Infill: 10% Filament: eSun PETG Silver Notes: Used a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.4mm wide 220C hotend, 70C bed, 36mm/sec, 75% speed outer perimeter. Post-Printing ============= Hole Cleaning and Alignment I ran a 5/64" (1.93mm) drill bit through the hole by hand and it was sticking a bit (making a tick tick tick sound, almost like static sometimes). I bored the hole out further with a 3/32" (2.30mm) bit and it works great. Before I tightened down the nut to hold the guide in place I inserted a length of filament that went through the filament guide I have on the extruder, through this filament guide, and then into the throat tube. Having the filament comfortably aligned I held the filament guide down firm and tightened the nut. It seems to have worked out nicely. Category: 3D Printer Parts
