Anet A8 - Logitech C310 Webcam Nozzle Mount
thingiverse
This is a compact bracket designed for mounting a Logitech C310 webcam onto the print head of an Anet A8 so you can monitor the print nozzle in real-time. Since it simply inserts into the bearing block, it may work on other printers with similar designs, but I cannot guarantee its compatibility. Update: I've created a new V3 version of this mount. I've made it thicker in areas that tend to sag over time and added a notch to accommodate the screws present on the stock Anet A8. The camera board mounting points have also been tilted to better aim at the nozzle, and the Cinema 4D source file has been updated accordingly. Check out this YouTube video showcasing its effectiveness: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uONfZrhw1DQ As seen in the video, this setup can produce a remarkably detailed image of your nozzle's performance. However, please note that this design is primarily intended for a standard Anet A8 and may not work with heavily modified printers. Please be aware that you'll need to remove the webcam casing and access the bare electronics to install this bracket. This process can be challenging for inexperienced users, requiring the removal of a wire soldered to the board, which must then be re-soldered. If your webcam is damaged during this process, I am not liable. An important note: The main lens has a dab of glue holding it at a specific focus distance. You'll need to use a small pick to remove this glue and then adjust the focus by screwing the lens in or out.
