Anet A8 - LED Strip Support

Anet A8 - LED Strip Support

thingiverse

I designed a custom LED strip support for my Anet A8 3D printer. This support consists of three parts: two are the actual supports, which are LED strips, and one connects these two parts together seamlessly. In addition to the supports, I also created a door switch that allows you to turn on or off the strips when they're not in use. This feature is incredibly convenient. The switch holder is designed to accommodate two switches, one for the LED strip mounted on the printer frame and one for the LEDs located underneath the extruder trolley. I connected these switches directly to the PSU of my Anet A8 3D printer. I came up with two different versions of this support. The first version (V1) features a block that connects the two supports at the top, while the second version (V2) has a block between the LED strip and the support. Choose your favorite design! Happy printing! ===================================================================== Note: I used two FEMME MX1 3A 250V switches to control the LEDs. These switches are readily available, but you can easily find alternatives if needed.
