Anet A8 LED Light Mount and Diffuser

I needed a way to secure some LEDs on my Anet A8. I also wanted to soften the light slightly. This is my solution, made in three parts: left side, top, and right side. Although it would fit perfectly on my print bed, I decided to break each part into two pieces. You'll need to glue them together using CA extra thick. There's a dado in each piece for holding the LED strip securely. Each component simply clips onto the printer frame, requiring no fasteners. Update: The LEDs I used came from Rextin, but they may no longer be available as they've updated their design. Here are the dimensions of what I actually used to help you find an alternative: 9.8 x 0.6 x 0.4 inches. Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 20% Notes: I printed with 3D Solutech Natural Clear PLA. Post-Printing: Glueing the parts together involves several steps. First, sand the ends of the pieces before gluing to ensure a stronger joint when they're even. Next, use tape to keep the pieces tightly aligned while you glue them together. Make sure to test fit the LED strip during this process. Lift the pieces up to expose the glued ends and lay it back flat with the tape holding everything in place. This will help prevent any misalignment. Finally, clean up any excess glue squeeze-out as best you can. Just a note:
