The stock back plate that comes with the Anet A8 has several flaws in its design. One major issue is that it fails to account for solder joints located on the rear of the board. This oversight results in gaps between the plate and the joints, which can be problematic when tightening the screws. Fortunately, this shortcoming could easily be addressed through minor modifications. For my purposes, the existing design was sufficient. Nevertheless, there are some drawbacks worth mentioning. One notable concern is that the solder joints remain exposed, although this may not be a significant issue given the overall design of the A8. I made some adjustments to the STL file to ensure it aligned with my requirements. Specifically, I trimmed 5mm from each edge to produce a slightly smaller version.
