Mounting an Engraving Laser on Your Anet A8 Print Head. A custom mount to hold an engraving laser on the Anet A8 print head was created. The original design did not fit properly, so a revised version with accurate measurements was developed. In my setup, the laser is mounted at a very slight angle due to its two-screw mounting system. This angle will have no impact on engraving performance but may become an issue during laser cutting operations. Feedback of any kind is always welcome and greatly appreciated.
