This is a very sleek way to organize all the electronics of the Anet A8. It has been precision-cut in 3 mm black acrylic using a laser cutter. I applied paint to the engravings by spraying it directly onto the engraving with a brush, covering it fully and then removing the excess with paper towels before cleaning up any remaining residue with a cloth soaked in cellulose thinner. This creates a very polished look and the entire assembly appears as though it was installed from the factory. Secure all the pieces together using superglue in the joints except for the front panel which screws on. I added a beeper to the Anet A8 by utilizing the spare "LED_PIN". You can view this along with other pin mappings for the anet v1.0 board in this project: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2103748 I configured my firmware to feature a beeper and defined the beeper pin in pins.h accordingly. I used this piezo beeper module: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/162273401946?_trksid=p2057872.m2748.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT If you need any additional information on how to add this feature or use this spare pin for any other function, simply leave a comment. I also added an emergency stop button using a simple push-to-make switch connected between the ground and reset pins of "J3". This works exceptionally well and immediately stops any movements or heaters in case of a bed crash. There is space provided for a 40 mm fan. One switch on the PSU case controls mains power, while another can be used for lighting or something else. The hole for the socket will accept a standard IEC socket. To install this case, you must first remove the mainboard and then screw in the case behind it, followed by attaching the power supply in a similar manner. IMPORTANT NOTE: The power supply case is designed specifically for an upgraded 33 amp power supply (the one with the fan) and not the standard 20 amp unit. They have different dimensions. However, the motherboard case should work on all Anet A8 models. Disclaimer: I assume no responsibility for any harm that may arise as a result of making the 220/110v connections. Ensure you are competent to handle such voltages and do so at your own risk.
