Anet a8 iec socket cover
thingiverse
Cover for Anet a8 iec socket mounting placement is entirely up to you. The cover comes with a tab that can be used to secure it onto your printer, but this tab is optional. You could instead drill into the inside of the box and use a hex screw with nut or threading. To get the backplate to snap into place, you will need to file down its inner edges. However, other than this minor adjustment, the print comes out well at a .4 layer height. The push screws may also require some filing to ensure they fit properly. It's worth noting that the tab needs to be installed from inside the case with its prongs facing inwards. I've since made the necessary adjustments and will share them shortly. To provide more accurate information, please let me know how your print turns out. As I haven't fully calibrated my machine yet, I'd love to hear if you encounter any issues with the fit of the tabs on your printer. Here are the print settings used for this cover: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .4 layer height for a 3-hour build time; .2 layer height takes around 6.5 hours Infill: 0%
