This redesign is aimed at enhancing the safety of the hotbed cable connector. The goal was to prevent catastrophic failures such as printers catching fire, and this modification should offer some level of protection. If you are currently using the standard Anet Auto Leveling Sensor, it's recommended that you relocate it to the front of your hotend, as large prints may cause it to collide with the cable relief.
