My DIY Heated Block Sock Project.\r\nA custom form was printed with 0.1mm layer thickness and 100% infill density.\r\nDon't forget to apply vaseline inside for easy mold release.\r\nTo create the silicone mixture, combine corn starch with high-temperature silicone according to this recipe.\r\nFor a detailed mixing guide, watch this YouTube tutorial:\r\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2sjGIhs5hE&t=145s\r\n\r\nYou'll also need the following components:\r\nTwo M3x25mm screws\r\nTwo M3x10mm screws with at least 8mm thread length\r\nTwo flat head M3x6mm screws\r\nTwo washers\r\nFour regular nuts or wing nuts\r\n\r\nAfter the mold is cured, use a sharp tool to trim it slightly and create an opening on top for extruder tubing.\r\nI also employed a DIY vacuum pump to eliminate air bubbles, but this step is optional.
