Anet A8 Front Frame Brace with mounting option
thingiverse
Hey everyone, this is a remix of Leo's front frame brace with one key change - I added a screw hole with some space for it to mount on a plate, working best with my rear frame brace. This upgrade gives me a lot more stability while printing. Before, the issue was that I had switched to Igus bearings on my y-axis and the belts were slipping through because my printer wasn't touching the ground in every place it should. Now my prints are fine - less vibration, no more slipping through, etc. To attach it, I used M3 wood screws with washers. This upgrade works best with my rear frame brace and other upgrades to the Anet A8. -------------------------------------- Other Designs from me for Anet A8 -------------------------------------- Check out my remix of Leo's rear frame brace: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2246689 My Y Axis Cable Holder: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2741868 My Anet A8 Y Axis Belt Tensioner for GT2 Pulleys: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2761103 Print Settings: Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: At least 10% Notes: I printed mine with only 5% infill and it works fine.
