ANET A8 FRONT FRAME BRACE (LOWER ALL-THREAD HOLES)
thingiverse
Hey guys! I'm upgrading my Anet A8 and discovered that my frame is different from standard sizes, which I believe might be due to it being a Tronxy printer. To get the front frame brace working on my printer, I had to modify it since other braces didn't fit. To make this part versatile for both types of printers, I left the original mounting holes intact. I've also included a 3 mm test fit piece so you can see if it will work with your setup without having to print the entire thing. For added rigidity, I printed the part at 50% infill. If anyone has suggestions on how to improve this design, let me know! -------------------------------------- UPDATE: 3/29/2018 -------------------------------------- The brace is working great for me, and I'm calling it a completed design/part now. What do you think of it? -------------------------------------- EDIT: 3/21/2018 -------------------------------------- I moved the all thread holes up by 0.52" because they were too low on my printer, and updated the model here.
