Anet A8 Front Frame Brace
thingiverse
This frame brace is designed for mounting at the front of an Anet A8 3D printer. I created it because it complements the design of my rear brace (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1852358).\nNote for models sometime prior to mid 2017: The front acrylic frame is not symmetrical, and you must ensure that the side marked 104mm is mounted on the right side to prevent belt misalignment with guide rods. See pictures for details on mounting.\nThis brace will fit newer models as well.\nMake sure your slicer program is set to 100% scale and that you rotate the object to make it fit on the heat bed.\nIf you encounter any problems with the design, please let me know so I can improve it if necessary.\nI would also appreciate a picture of your print with comments if you have made one.\nThanks.\nLeo\nUpdate 2017.06.09\nVersion 1.2 uploaded, addressing acrylic frames with lower placed belt tensioners and adding version number.\nPrint Settings\nPrinter: Anet A8\nRafts: Doesn't Matter\nSupports: No\nResolution: 0.2\nInfill: 20%\nNotes: Select a minimum of 0.8mm shell thickness and top / bottom thick layers, and I recommend 1.2mm.
