ANET A8 Front and Rear Braces with Holes for Mounting Printer to Bench/Table
thingiverse
Front and rear braces with mounting holes are provided. The front is an exact replica of Simhopp's original design, featuring only two key modifications: mounting holes and a hole on one side of the central section to facilitate easy bolt insertion when using Simhopp's belt tensioner. The rear brace has undergone significant changes, incorporating a sturdy extension that spans over to an existing machine screw. This extension prevents the acrylic plate from deflecting under pressure from the stepper motor bracket. Moreover, it redistributes the load away from the middle of the frame. By utilizing the mounting holes to secure attachment to a solid surface, the strain of tightening the belt is directly absorbed by the surface being attached to. After using these braces for about a month, I'm delighted to share this design with others due to its outstanding performance and reliability.
