Anet a8 Frame Washer Spacer
thingiverse
Fixing a printer (anet a8) for a friend, I discovered that the two threaded rods securing the y axis were not providing enough stability. The issue was that the washers clamping onto the acrylic frame were slipping off due to inadequate support along their entire circumference. I created these custom spacers to bridge the gap above the rod where the washers were coming loose, effectively resolving the problem. These spacers work flawlessly and take mere minutes to print - one on each side of the rod. I've included a STEP file for anyone who wants to modify or customize the design as needed.
