Hi there, This is my iteration of a frame stabilizer that actually works as intended. I know there are other versions already out there, but let's be real - have you taken a close look at them? Every single one has geometric holes, ranging from circles to triangles and hexagons, and none of them are even connected to the frame. What's up with that? This stabilizer is different. It uses two screw holes on each part that are already built into the printer, so you'll just need to drill a few more holes into the acrylic frame and Leo_N's backets (check out http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1872162). You'll also need five M3 screws with washers and nuts for each part. The best part? No geometric holes here. They don't offer any real advantage to the print, just increase the time it takes to finish. The enhanced version even uses less material than similar stabilizers with holes - 20% less, in fact! And because of its optimized design, it prints faster too. There's also a solid version available if you're into that sort of thing (though be warned: it'll take 20% longer to print and use 40% more material). Printing Facts: This is a long print, so make sure everything is working smoothly before you start. I recommend custom supports, but grid support with 0% infill will do in a pinch. Just be prepared for some serious cleanup time afterwards.
