Anet A8 frame brace y-axis back

TL;DR: Frame Brace for the back of the y-Axis Anet A8 January 2017 version (135mm distance between both acrylic plates in the back). Does not fit Anet A8 2017 May Version. Hi there, You're probably aware that there are many efficient frame braces available for the front of the anet A8. However, I couldn't find a single one for the back... The designs on thingiverse either waste a lot of material or don't solve the problem at all. They also only work with older versions of Anet A8. So, here's my attempt to create a frame brace that works with the January 2017 version of Anet A8 (135mm distance between both acrylic plates in the back). This massive piece directly braces against the motor, where tension is created. It uses unused holes in the acrylic, so no drilling is required. And best of all, it uses less than 50g of material! For the front of the y-axis, I recommend Simhopp's design: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1430727 Edit: You'll need two additional M3 screws and nuts to complete this project. Disclaimer: This frame brace may not be compatible with bulky belt holder designs. If you're looking for a belt holder that fits, check out my design: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2068314 Print Settings: Printer: Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 20% Notes: Wall thickness 1.6mm Bottom/top layer thickness 1.2mm
