anet a8 frame anti bending
thingiverse
This is a DIY anti-bending support for your Anet A8 frame. Unlike other solutions, this one requires you to purchase components from your local store. You'll need: * 1 M8 threaded rod * 3 M8 nuts * 3 M8 autolocking nuts (I spent $1.70 on these at my local store) There are four items to be printed: front and rear supports for the front side of the frame, and front and rear supports for the rear side of the frame. Note that there are only two files - one should be printed depending on your frame version. To assemble this support, follow these steps: * Cut the threaded rod into three pieces, each at least 3mm shorter than the distance between Anet frame supports. * Use an autolocking nut on one side and the other three nuts on the other side. * Install them from the bottom of your printer. All the supports fit snugly into existing screw holes - the rear-rear support even fits perfectly into the Y-axis motor support. * I used spare screws and nuts from my Anet collection to secure the parts to the frame.
