I designed this custom filament guide after testing other options because it allows the spool to sit atop my printer, providing ample clearance for the filament to move freely in both directions. I incorporated a curved border to facilitate smooth motion and included a narrow slit that enables effortless filament loading or removal without disturbing the extruder. The design fits snugly over the frame above the screen.
