Anet A8 filament set The main goal of this Anet A8 filament set is to provide a stable and secure way to attach the filament spool on top of the frame, with several key features: - The 90-degree bracket ensures low torque on the frame, even when using heavy 3kg spools. - This set can handle multi-size or large spools up to 140mm wide (without an adapter), 240mm in diameter, and 75mm inner diameter. - A short version of the popular Anet_A8 Spool Holder Bracket fits into the standard Anet A8 spool holder. - The low weight filament guide has a diagonal attachment for added stability. The set includes: - The 90-degree bracket "Anet_A8 Spool Holder Bracket multisize.stl" - The 75mm diameter spool adapter "bolt.stl" (a remake of the popular Anet A8 spool holder) - The 75mm diameter spool adapter nut "nut.stl" (also a remake of the standard spool holder) - The short version of the bolt for standard 1kg spools, which is 95mm long and also fits into the standard spool holder delivered with Anet A8 - A remake of the popular spool holder "spulenhalter_links_MK2_short95mm.stl" - Multi filament guides that mount on the horizontal frame (located at the upper out center and lower longslot) - The low weight filament guide with diagonal attachment, which might interfere with large diameter extruder buttons Required for assembly: - M3x25 screws to assemble the 90-degree bracket - An M8x180-200 tread rod for the 75mm diameter spool adapter or a use of the standard spool holder - Ball bearings 608ZZ, two pieces, 8mm (core), 22mm (outer diameter), and 7mm (width) for the spool adapter bolt and nut This set is designed to work with other popular Anet A8 accessories: - Holder arm AnetA8_Holder_rev0.stl from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1624641 - Extruder button https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2427227 I recently modified my Anet A8 for a bowden setup and attached a stepper motor mount to the back of the display with vertical filament routing (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2811282). For this assembly, the filament must be guided at the back of the display as well, so I added the Anet_A8 Spool Holder Bracket 90degr_Bowdenextender.stl to move the spool further to the back.
