Anet A8 Filament Holder

Anet A8 Filament Holder

I liked and used this filament holder (2 last pics): https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2047357. As I still use my spool at the same level as my 3D printer, I observed that the filament was under constraints. I decided to design my own filament holder in order to reduce those constraints. I know it would be much better to put the spool at a higher level, but not today! This design was made using FreeCAD 0.16. You will find the original file (FCStd extension) as well as the STL one for your preferred slicer software. Use it as is or customize it yourself. Before printing, you may rotate at 90 degrees the part in Cura (as shown on the picture after the printing stops). No need for supports, but I prefer to use low speed (30 mm/s) for a better quality (since I am not a "in hurry" person).
