Anet A8 Filament Guide for Linear Chain
thingiverse
I was thrilled by the concept of this revised guide, which prevents filament from scraping against the metal extruded bracket hole, thus eliminating annoying shavings everywhere. However, I encountered an issue when utilizing it with a linear chain - it tends to cause filament to rub against the chain, resulting in printing problems at times. This redesign cleverly adjusts the top angle while maintaining the bottom location, and also relocates the nozzle slightly, allowing for easier access to the left side screw (a feature that was previously inaccessible). After using it for several days, I've noticed significant improvements in print quality and no more snagging on the linear chain.
